The Weekly Club
A place to eat, unwind, laugh and discover what interests you.
The weekly Clootie Club is the heart of everything we do. It is a relaxed after-school space where young people can eat, play, create, talk and spend time with trusted adults and other pupils. You do not need to complete a course, arrive with a plan or know what you want to do in the future.
What happens on a club evening
Arrive and settle
Food, drinks, conversation and time to decompress after school.
Choose what to join
Games, art, music, making, practical challenges or simply watching until you feel ready.
Try something unfamiliar
Themed evenings and visitors introduce new skills, people and possibilities.
Share your interests
Your ideas help shape future activities, visits and projects.
Take a next step
If something matters to you, the team can help you explore it further.
Activities
Club evenings may include games, Dungeons and Dragons, art, music recording, baking, first aid, technology, practical making, teamwork challenges and ideas suggested by young people. Some evenings are purely social. Others open the door to a new activity, mentor, project or place.
Reassurance
You do not have to be confident before you arrive. It is fine to come with someone you know, take your time or watch before joining in. Tell a school contact or Clootie leader if there is anything that would make attending easier.
